Our goal here at Collision is to create a blog that appeals to any person moved by art and life. We feature music, film, photography, sketches, photomanipulation, fashion and literature that we consider relevant and important to our generation (or that we just can't help but love).

Our name originates from the thought of this blog and its topics colliding together to create an essentially art-based blog. Thus, Collision is a synthesis of all kinds of art coming together under one blog by young adult writers who feel extremely passionate about every topic addressed.

We hope you enjoy the blog as much as we enjoy writing it!

Like everyone else here at Collision, I am in love with art in its many shapes and forms. Hi everyone! My name's Allison, but I usually go by Alley with my friends. I'm 19 years old, and I recently finished my first year of university. I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English, and hoping to get in the editing and publishing field after graduation. Hey everyone! My name is Caitlin and I am a 21 year old who recently finished up my first year of university. I am pursuing a BA Honours in Psychology and hope to counsel terminally ill children and their siblings in a hospital environment after my education. When I was asked to be a contributor to Collision I was ecstatic to take on the challenge. Being a part of something that has the potential to change even one person’s perspective on art, literature, music and all the other topics included in Collision will, I know, shape me as a writer and critical thinker. Sorry for the radio silence on the blog lately, guys. For us university girls April is when we have our final exams, so life has pretty much just consisted of studying. However, exam are just about done and we should be back to posting regularly soon. Anyway, for the time being enjoy some pictures I took down by the lake last week. ♥
